Thursday's winner is Bowling Green over San Jose State. This is my 50 Star Winner.

Bowling Green's early season losses were to Florida, Toledo, and Virginia Tech. Since then, the Falcons have won 7 of 8, both SU and ATS. The BG stop unit allows a mere 15.8 PPG and a 28% conversion rate on 3rd down. They have a hard-hitting LB corps and one of the nation's top secondary's. The offense isn't explosive but they have a solid ground game that moves the chains and controls the clock. On top of that, they play mistake-free football, losing only 4 fumbles this season. SJ State, on paper is a strong squad. But really only beat two quality teams in San Diego state and BYU, by a combined 10 points. Their passing game IS their offense. But will be contained against the stellar BG secondary. The problem is that they have no rushing attack whatsoever. This will be fatal. Take Bowling Green. Thank you.
