The Giants are a difficult team to figure out. One week they can look like they are ready to defend their Super Bowl title and the next week look like they don’t even belong in the playoffs. That’s certainly been the case of late. Just one week after demolishing the Saints 52-27 at home, New York went on the road and lost at Atlanta 0-34.

You simply can’t judge this team by their previous performance. You have to look more at the importance of each game. This is certainly a week where you have to expect their best effort. New York is hanging on to their playoff hopes by a thread, but they still control their own destiny. If they win their final two games they are in.

With this line you have to believe oddsmakers are looking more at the Ravens overall success and not really factoring in how bad this team has played down the stretch. Baltimore has lost three straight and won each of their previous two games against Pittsburgh (without Ben Roethlisberger) and San Diego by a field goal. The Ravens have simply been decimated by injuries on both sides of the ball and their offense is a complete mess. The firing of offensive coordinator Cam Cameron didn’t seem to make much of a difference.

New York is 24-10 ATS in road games after allowing 30 points or more, while the Ravens are 0-6 in home games after 1 or more consecutive losses straight up. BET THE GIANTS!
