The Indiana Pacers have owned the Cavaliers of late and are showing some amazing value as a small road favorite. Indiana has won three straight in the series, including a 96-81 win at home over the Cavs just 9 days ago. I don't see any reason why the Pacers can't pull out at least a 4-pt win at Cleveland when you consider how these two teams have been playing of late. Indiana has won four of their last five, while the Cavs come in having lost five straight and 10 of their last 11 overall.
You also have to like the fact that Cleveland's Anderson Varejao is listed as questionable (knee). Varejao missed the Cavs game on Wednesday against the Celtics and to no surprise they lost by double-digits. Even if Varegjao is able to play, if he isn't at 100% that is going to really hurt Cleveland. They rely so much on his defense and rebounding, two things you can't exactly excel at with a banged up knee. Even if Varejao was healthy I would like the Pacers in this spot, but if he doesn't play this should be a blowout win for Indiana.
Indiana is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games vs a team with a losing S.U. record and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games vs a team with a losing home record. The Cavs are just 3-14 ATS in their last 17 division games and 5-16 ATS in their last 21 home games vs a team with a losing road record. BET THE PACERS!
