Since their opening day loss, Michigan State has rattled off five straight victories, including an outright win and cover over Kansas. Guard, Gary Harris may return sooner than expected from a shoulder issue. Keith Appling (16.8 PPG) leads an all-star cast here. The Spartans have size, strength, and speed. Not to mention the athleticism of "Big Men" Nix and Payne. Miami's, Center, Johnson is hampered by a bruised tailbone and Guard, Scott has returned from suspension but has yet to face a team if the caliber of MSU.
