Taking ILLINOIS STATE here. I am not high on this UAB team at all. I think they are playing over their heads right now, as a team I have ranked near, or at the bottom of C-USA. Illinois State will be looking to battle Creighton for the Missouri Valley Championship. Redbirds return 4 of 5 starters from last year's team that lost to Creighton in the MVC Championship game. We saw UAB vs Creighton this year. They led at the half. But the inexperienced showed up with a pair of huge runs. 15-3 that Creighton used to take a 2pt lead. Then a 20-2 run to cover late to cover a 15pt spread. Illinois State is clicking on offense averaging over 90ppg. They are not taking any team for granted.
