Detroit has an issue not winning at home on T Day in 9 years. They are 0-8 SU and ATS for the annual Thanksgiving day Bash! Houston was busy trading TD’s last week in a shocker that had them winning it in a rare shootout for Wade Phillips defense while Detroit was busy blowing a lead against the hated Packers and grabbing defeat from the Jaws of victory. Smells like a set up line but when Detroit faces teams with a balanced attack and a good pass rush they falter, and Houston is a clear description of that. Houston is 4-0 SU on the road which is a sign of a good team and Detroit is 2-2 SU at home and off a brutal gut wrenching loss. Texans on a stellar 21-8 run and being ranked 2nd against the run and 4th in yards allowed on defense means forcing Stafford to throw, since the Lions have no running game only putting up 99 yards a game. I will take the better team with the better defense laying a field goal here.
