*3 Star NCAA BB Hidden GEM* The Cal Golden Bears might not exactly be stacked this year, but I see them as a solid team capable of finishing in the top three of the PAC 12. Allen Crabbe and Brandon Smith combine to form a very good backcourt. Denver has historically played very well on their home floor, which is probably why they are getting so much respect from the oddsmakers here. Still, it's hard to imagine Denver being able to overcome their major disadvantage athletically in this one. Cal should use their team speed to their advantage here. Look for a fairly close game, but I think Cal wins. Take California.
