Joe D'Amico's NCAAB MSU/Kansas ESPN Winner
Michigan State vs. Kansas,
11/13/2012 19:00 EDT,
Score: 67 - 64
Point Spread: -2½/-110 Kansas
The #7 ranked Kansas team opened their season by spanking SE Missouri State, 74-55. The Jayhawks are favored to win their 9th straight Big 12 Title. Jeff Withey (17/12 in Game 1) is s stud. The 7'0" Center can do it all. Withey, along with McLemore and Ellis are the nucleus of this squad. Overall, the unit is chock-full of talent, height, and intelligence. They will come out tonight and make a statement against MSU. The Spartans failed to exploit a smaller Huskies frontcourt in their 66-62 (as a 8 point fav) loss in their opener. Overall, Michigan State shot 37%, committed 15 TOs, and allowed Connecticut to shoot 46% in that game. The team will sorely miss Draymond Green. Take Kansas. Thank you.
