Saturday's winner is Northwestern over Michigan. This is my Big 10 GoM.

At 7-2, Northwestern is just a few plays away from being perfect. Their only losses were a late collapse to Penn State by 11 and a 1 point defeat to Nebraska. The Wildcats have a 1000 yard rusher in Venrick Mark (1072 YR and 9 TDs). QB, Kevin Colter adds 622 YR and 11 scores on the ground. Overall, NW ranks 13th in the nation in rushing. That is just about the biggest weakness that Michigan has…stopping the run. The Wolverines put too much emphasis on Denard Robinson. The QB sat out LW but is expected to play here. Michigan got shellacked by Alabama, got out-played by Notre Dame, and was shredded by Nebraska. Each time a team faces them head-on, they lose.
