This is a battle of teams who are fighting for the Legends division title and the inside track to the Big 10 title game, and Nebraska off a huge win against Michigan last week has a 2 game lead over Michigan State and has tie breaker wins over Michigan and Northwestern, so the Huskers have a TON on the line here. This will be a defensive battle and while Michigan State has the better defense, the Huskers by FAR have the better offense. The Husker running attack is rock solid and QB Martinez the most gifted player on the field this weekend. If Nebraska wins this game they have Iowa and Minny left to get the division crown, and rest assured they know it. The Husker defense renewed their commitment last week and really did a number on Michigan who lost QB Denard early in that game, so that is slightly skewed somewhat but a vast improvement for the blackshirts over previous games. I think Nebraska’s defense enough to make a difference against a bad offense, and by far the Huskers have the better chance with their offense of scoring in this game than Michigan State does with no pass offense what so ever. Tight, low scoring, hard hitting, black and blue type Big 10 football game, Huskers come out on top.
