5* AFC WEST BLOCKBUSTER BOOKIE BEATDOWN: Chargers -7.5

I don't think there is any denying that both of these two teams have failed to play up to their potential so far this season. However, the Chargers are still just 3-4 and are not of the mix in the dismal AFC West. I fully expect the Chargers to show up in front of their home fans on prime time TV and deliver a performance that will allow them to cover this large spread.

The Chiefs are just 1-6 and there season is pretty much over. On top of this team playing on the road on a short week, there really isn't a lot this team has to play for.

A lot of people are going to look at how the Chiefs lost at home to the Chargers by a final 20-37 and look at their 6 turnovers as an excuse that they will be able to keep this game close. However, the Chiefs defense didn't exactly play great in that game given the short field the Chargers routinely had to work with. I also question why people think this Chiefs offense is going to all of the sudden stop turning the ball over. It's no fluke that they lead the league in both fumbles and interceptions.

The fact that oddsmakers set this line above a touchdown has me thinking they are enticing you to take the points in a division matchup. Kansas City is the worst team in the NFL and I just feel like there is a much better chance of San Diego winning this game by 20 points than Kansas City keeping it close on the road. BET THE CHARGERS!
