I really like the Bruins in this spot, especially considering they are getting a touchdown against an Arizona State team that I think is overrated. I'm not saying the Sun Devils shouldn't be favored in this game, just not by this much.

UCLA has been up and down after opening the season 3-0, but the key here is that they will be playing this game after a bye week. I'm confident UCLA head coach Jim Mora Jr. will have his team ready to play. Whenever you give a good coach an extra week to prepare for a team it usually works in their favor.

So much was made of this Arizona State team heading into last Thursday's showdown at home against Oregon. Neither the offense or defense showed up to play in that game, as the Ducks built a 43-7 less than 25 minutes into the game.

Arizona State put so much into that game as they went in with the belief that they could pull off the upset. When a team invests so much into one game it can be extremely hard for them to come back with a solid performance the next week. The Sun Devils are just 1-4 ATS after a loss and are only 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a double-digit loss at home. BET UCLA!
