Going UNDER the total here in Memphis. Let's face it. Grizzlies down 0-2 will need to really come out and make a statement tonight. They need a win in a bad way. This team was the top defensive team in the league and they must bring that here or it is all over. Spurs guard Tony Parker might be a little hobbled tonight with his calf. And Memphis needs any edge it can get. He destroyed them last game with his 15pt 18 assist game and that was on the heels of his 20 and 9 Game 1 performance. The Memphis guards must do a better job containing him. Randolph and Gasol are taking care of the glass and the interior. In this spot, defense will be front and center and I think this is going to be one of those ugly games. 4* Total Money UNDER Spurs/Grizzlies

Taking the MARINERS here. Have to love getting one of the top pitchers in MLB at this short price at home. Hernandez is off a terrible start so he will be looking to be extra sharp tonight. Now, Holland has nice trends working in his favor and Felix's trends are working in the opposite direction. But I will ignore those here. Holland has been roughed up a bit in his last 2 starts allowing 8 earned runs in 9.1 innings (6.97 ERA). Like I said earlier, King Felix was roughed up the other start vs Cleveland giving up 5 earned in 5 innings and raising his EAR .50 points, now 2.03. In the 6 previous starts he had given up exactly 3 earned and if you go his last 7th, he has give up 6 earned in those 7 games. At this short price, I will grab the home team. 5* Best Bet SEATTLE MARINERS

Taking the PACERS here. OK. We know the Heat are defending Champs. But Have you really been that impressed with the play-off run they have had. I'm not. And I have cashed with them a few times. Simple fact is they have not been tested. They had a joke series vs the Bucks and cake-walked over them. After a long-layoff, they faced a tough defensive team in the Bulls. Bulls promptly came out and beat Miami in their own backyard. Yes, they didn't do much after, but let's be honest. The Bulls we missing a few guys. Now we have Miami, again, with some ample rest time. Wade has a banged up knee and will be facing another tough, aggressive defensive unit. Pacers took 2 of the first 3 in last year's playoff series vs this same Heat team. They won't be intimidated by LeBron, Wade and Bosh and Miami. Indiana took 2 of 3 from the Heat this season. I think the biggest edge here is in the front-court with Hibbert and West over Bosh and the rest of the Miami bigs. They just aren't physical enough. Paul George is another tough defender they can throw at people. This is too many points and I will gladly them. Will also sprinkle some ML action here also. 5* BEST BET Indiana Pacers

Taking the BLUE JAYS here. Orioles starter Chris Tillman is 0-4 his last 4 starts vs Toronto. Jays playing better, are 7-3 their last 10 while the Orioles are in a 2-8 run over that same span. Jays send rookie Nolin to the bump. The kid was impressive in the minors going 16-6 2.92 ERA in 246 innings with 263Ks. After a slow start, the Toronto line-up is finally starting to hit and I think they get to Tillman tonight. 4* Money-Maker TORONTO BLUE JAYS

Taking the INDIANS here. This team can hit. I really like the line-up. It is deep and has power. When you toss a pitcher like Masterson out in front of that, you have a chance to compete with any team. When that teams sends out John Lackey, at we small dogs, well we have a certain way to go here. Masterson has taken another step forward this year and has been excellent. 7-2 2.83 ERA in 10 starts 70 innings 71Ks and a .210 BA against and has a 19 inning scoreless streak going. Lackey has looked better then he has the last time he pitched back in 2011 when he had an ERA near 7. But I will the fade the guy here and go with the guy who I think is clearly better at this point. 4* Money-Maker CLEVELAND INDIANS

Going UNDER the total here. First we have Scott Feldman. I think people forget he won 17 games for the Rangers once. He has clearly been reborn here in the NL. A .214 BA against 39Ks in 49 innings gives him just a 4-3 record, but a sparkling 2.19 ERA. Last 3 games he has given up 1 run in 19.2 innings giving up 14 hits while striking out 15. Bronson Arroyo is just being himself. 4-4 and a 3.28 ERA. This guy has only the one 'good' season at 17-10, but he is your proverbial workhorse going 14-10, 15-11 and being consistent. He has 14.1 scoreless under his belt his last 2 starts and with the light hitting Cubbies in town, I expect to see more of the same. He has gone under in 6 of his last 8 vs the Cubs. 4* Total Money UNDER Cubs/Reds

Taking the BREWERS here. Will fade the Pirates here. Yes, AJ Burnett leads the NL is strike-outs and hasn't given up more than 3 runs in a game this year. But I am not buying it in this spot. Pirates are 7-44 last 51 at Milwaukee, 0-4 in AJ's last 4 vs Brewers. Pirates 2-5 in his last 7 road starts and 5-14 his last 19 starts overall. AJ 2-5 4.87 career numbers vs Brew Crew. Marco Estrada is 4-0 2.17 ERA in 49.2 innings with 51Ks vs Pirates. Brewers 6-2 his last 8 starts and 8-2 his last 10 starts at home. Milwaukee also 11-1 in Estrada's last 12 starts vs NL Central teams. They just win when this guy is on the mound. 10* Money-Bomb MILWAUKEE BREWERS

Yes, this Rockies bunch who I thought would not be very good has defied the odds. Tulo and CarGo are beasts in this lineup. They also should get back another solid hitter in Cuddyer tonight. Rox 4-1 in Chatwood's last 5 starts. He is 2-2 2.57 in 21 innings vs the Giants. Former Cy Young Lincecum fell off a cliff last year. I still don't trust him as he is walking to many hitters. He is only 11-8 with a 3.99 ERA vs the Rockies for his career. For as dominate as he was early in his career, those are not impressive considering the history of Colorado pitchers. He has allowed 6 runs in each of his last 2 games facing the Rox this year. Back on 5/18, Chatwood got the win in a 10-2 win against Lincecum and back on 4/9 Lincecum went 6 giving up 6 but to a ND as the Rockies gave up bullpen gave up 3 in the bottom of the 8th to lose 9-6. 5* Best Bet COLORADO ROCKIES
