College Football Betting Preview  SBG Global Opening Line: Oklahoma - 7 , Total 72  Third-ranked Oklahoma will try and move up in the BCS standings on Saturday as they play at rival Oklahoma State. With a win against the Cowboys, the Sooners would almost assuredly get a spot in next week’s Big 12 title game against Missouri. If they would go on to beat the Tigers they would probably then play in the BCS National Championship game. SBG Global reports that early College Football betting has the public taking Oklahoma on the Road.  The BCS standings may be a little tough to understand but there is no doubt that Oklahoma is playing as well as anyone in the country. They have scored more than 60 points in their last three games. Quarterback Sam Bradford is now a serious contender for the Heisman Trophy as he has thrown for 3,710 yards and 42 touchdown passes this season. The running game of the Sooners with DeMarco Murray and Chris Brown looks great and even the Sooners defense is playing well. Oklahoma may need to be firing on all cylinders to win at Stillwater against a very talented Oklahoma State team. “I think they know that they just can’t come in here and manhandle us and we know that we have just as good a chance of winning as they do now, so it isn’t as one-sided and it makes for a better game,” Oklahoma State fullback Bryant Ward said. “We both come in more ready to play, we both prepare harder and I think it gives a better show.”  Oklahoma State has only two losses on the season and those were to Texas and Texas Tech. The question on Saturday will be whether or not the Cowboys offense can keep pace with the high powered attack of the Sooners. Running back Kendall Hunter has 1,434 yards overall and leads the Big 12 in rushing. Last year Hunter was held in check as the Cowboys lost to the Sooners.  Oklahoma leads the all-time series against Oklahoma State 78-17-7. Here are more College Football betting stats for Saturday’s game. The Sooners are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in November. The Sooners are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 conference games. The Sooners are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Sooners are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings at Oklahoma State.  The Cowboys are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games. The Cowboys are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 conference games. The home team is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings between the two teams.  SBG Global Current Line: Oklahoma - 7 , Total 72  The Over is 7-0 in the Sooners last 7 conference games. The Over is 4-0 in the Sooners last 4 road games. The Over is 10-1 in the Sooners last 11 games overall. The Over is 28-8 in the Cowboys last 36 home games.  Pick: Oklahoma 4 out of 5 units

College Football Betting Preview SBG Global Opening Line: Texas Tech - 3 , Total 69  The Big 12 gets the spotlight again on Saturday night as #2 Texas Tech hosts #8 Oklahoma State in a game televised on ABC. The Red Raiders defeated Texas last week and soared in the polls and now they are #2 in the BCS standings. They can’t afford a letdown though as a very talented Oklahoma State team comes to town. “I hope it’s not (difficult), but you worry,” Texas Tech coach Mike Leach said. “We’ve done a pretty good job this year, just trying to keep everybody in perspective. Now the biggest game in history is Oklahoma State, or the history of this year, anyway.” SBG Global reports that early College Football betting has the public taking Texas Tech at Home. The Red Raiders have the longest winning streak in the nation at 11 games and it is mainly thanks to their offense. Graham Harrell completed 36 of 53 passes for 474 yards and two touchdowns last week in the win over Texas. They may need a similar game out of Harrell against a Cowboys team whose only loss was at Texas 28-24. “The road’s not getting any easier for us,” said Harrell, “(The Texas game) was a great win for us. It was big for the program. But, at the same time, in order for it to mean anything we need to do it again.”  Oklahoma State routed Iowa State 59-17 last week and their offense is not that far behind Texas Tech’s. Last year the Cowboys had 610 total yards in beating Texas Tech 49-45.  Oklahoma State has lost 11 straight games at Lubbock. Here are more College Football betting stats for Saturday’s game. The Cowboys are 5-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Cowboys are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games on turf. The Cowboys are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 conference games. The Cowboys are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Cowboys are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games. The underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between the two teams. The Cowboys are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings at Texas Tech.  The Red Raiders are 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. College Football Betting Preview SBG Global Opening Line: Texas – 12.5 , Total 70  The top ranked Texas Longhorns get another test on Saturday as they host #7 Oklahoma State. Texas has beaten Oklahoma and Missouri the last two weeks to take over the top spot in the polls. Head coach Mack Brown is pleased but knows there is more to do. “We’re playing at a high level, but we’re not a great team yet,” he said. “We’ve got to be a great team for 60 minutes for the next five weeks to get us the chance to play in the (Big 12) championship game, which is what we want. We’re at a point (right now), unless we play well, we’ll get beat.”  There are nine remaining unbeaten teams in major college football and one of them will fall after this game is over. Oklahoma State is the surprise team in this game as very few experts had them pegged for a great season. The Cowboys are trying not to get caught up in all of the hype. “If you try to make one game bigger than the next, then guys might be pressing and trying to do too much,” quarterback Zac Robinson said, “We’re going to go out and just play the way we do. Our team’s so young that they don’t know any better than to do that.” The Cowboys should be able to score against a Texas defense that is giving up 275 yards per game through the air. The problem for Oklahoma State will be stopping Heisman Trophy contender Colt McCoy who has been nearly flawless. “We’re doing a lot of really good things,” said McCoy, “(The Cowboys) can score pretty much every time they have the ball, so we’re going to have to keep playing to that standard and keep getting better.”  Texas has owned this series, winning 10 straight and 20 of the 22 all-time meetings. Here are more College Football betting stats for Saturday’s game. The Cowboys are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Cowboys are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. The Cowboys are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 conference games. The Cowboys are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings between the two teams.  The Longhorns are 6-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Longhorns are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Longhorns are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 conference games. The Longhorns are 13-5 ATS in their last 18 games in October. The Longhorns are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 home games. The favorite is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between the two teams. SBG Global Current Line: Texas – 12 , Total 68.5  The Under is 6-0 in the Cowboys last 6 road games.
