Third-ranked Oklahoma will try and move up in the BCS standings on Saturday as they play at rival Oklahoma State. With a win against the Cowboys, the Sooners would almost assuredly get a spot in next week’s Big 12 title game against Missouri. If they would go on to beat the Tigers they would probably then play in the BCS National Championship game.

The Big 12 gets the spotlight again on Saturday night as #2 Texas Tech hosts #8 Oklahoma State in a game televised on ABC. The Red Raiders defeated Texas last week and soared in the polls and now they are #2 in the BCS standings. They can’t afford a letdown though as a very talented Oklahoma State team comes to town.

The top ranked Texas Longhorns get another test on Saturday as they host #7 Oklahoma State. Texas has beaten Oklahoma and Missouri the last two weeks to take over the top spot in the polls. Head coach Mack Brown is pleased but knows there is more to do. “We’re playing at a high level, but we’re not a great team yet,” he said. “We’ve got to be a great team for 60 minutes for the next five weeks to get us the chance to play in the (Big 12) championship game, which is what we want. We’re at a point (right now), unless we play well, we’ll get beat.”
