The argument could be made that this NFL wagering war in the Windy City on Sunday afternoon is between two of the better teams in the NFC that are only going to be getting better as the season wears on. Unfortunately for both the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins though, the loser might ultimately see this as the beginning of the end of their season.

Sunday’s game between the Chicago Bears (3-1) and the Carolina Panthers (0-4) was supposed to be showcased as the return of defensive end Julius Peppers to Charlotte for his first meeting with his former team. But instead of the Bears celebrating the excitement surrounding their prized pass rusher, they will be concerned about how to stop the pass rush of the Panthers after giving up 10 sacks in a 17-3 road loss to the New York Giants.

Two teams that very well could have the opposite records right now from what they actually have meet in “Big D” on Sunday for a good ol’ fashioned Texas sized NFL betting shootout, as the Dallas Cowboys play host to the Chicago Bears.
