The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been disrespected all season long, but they can really make a huge statement on Sunday when they travel to M&T Bank Field to take on the Baltimore Ravens.

The Bucs don’t really have the best offense in the world, but they continue to find ways to get the job done when need be. QB Josh Freeman has very much so proven that he is capable of leading this team to the playoffs, and though he might not get the job done this year, he will clearly do it in the future. Freeman has thrown for 2,099 yards and has a fantastic TD/INT ratio of 14/5. The rushing game isn’t fantastic and isn’t going to really overwhelm anyone, but RB LeGarrette Blount has the ability to pound it up on the inside and move the football. Between Blount and RB Cadillac Williams, Tampa Bay has a nice little 1-2 punch. The two have only rushed for 779 yards between them, but the fact that they have 205 carries between them is a good sign for a team that is used to getting overwhelmed at the line of scrimmage. The defensive line has really hurt Tampa Bay this year as well, as this team is allowing 136.5 yards per game on the ground, ranking just No. 29 in the NFL. However, the Buccaneers are coming off of their best game in years, a 21-0 shutout of the San Francisco 49ers to set themselves up for a nice run through the end of the season.

Baltimore has to avoid looking past this game, as it has the Pittsburgh Steelers at home next week. This is a horrifying end of the schedule for the Ravens as well, as the next four foes are all potential playoff teams. Still, there might not be a more feared defense in the NFL than this one, as Baltimore is holding foes to just 311.8 yards and 17.8 points per game. S Ed Reed already has four picks in spite of the fact that he has only played in four games since missing the first six games of the year injured. RB Ray Rice might not be going to the Pro Bowl this year, but he is doing what he needs to do for Baltimore. He has rushed for 730 yards and has caught 40 more passes for 345 yards, totaling three TDs. QB Joe Flacco is probably three games shy of the 3,000 yard barrier for the season, and he has a TD/INT ratio of 16/7. Watch out for WR Anquan Boldin as well, as he continues to be the main man for the Ravens’ offense. ‘Quan has 48 catches for 625 yards and six scores, and he is doing everything that his new team ever could have asked of him.

A few weeks ago, the Miami Dolphins came to town with a perfect record both SU and ATS on the road and were pummeled. The Bucs are a great team on the rise, but they aren’t quite at this level yet. They might stick around for awhile, but when push comes to shove, the Ravens are going to walk away with a double digit victory on Sunday afternoon.
