Minnesota (2-5 SU, 2-5 ATS) played well at New England last week, but lost 28-18. Brett Favre should be fine from his lacerated chin, but Moss is gone after post-game comments critical of his team and coach.

The spread versus Arizona (3-4 SU, 2-5 ATS) is off-the-board (should be around eight points) with Max Hall or Derek Anderson still to be named starting quarterback.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2 SU, 4-3 ATS) have a huge game when they visit the Atlanta Falcons (5-2 SU, 4-3 ATS). Bucs coach Raheem Morris has said his team is the best in the NFC. That bulletin board material will have Atlanta fired up and the oddsmakers are fully behind them as eight-point favorites.

Indianapolis (5-2 SU, 4-2-1 ATS) had a win (30-17) over Houston last night on Monday Night Football. There are still a lot of injury questions, but Peyton Manning is always dangerous. Philadelphia (4-3 SU, 3-4 ATS) is coming off a bye-week and Mike Vick will be the starter over Kevin Kolb. The Colts are surprising three-point road ‘dogs.’

Pittsburgh (5-2 SU, 4-3 ATS) had a tough 20-10 loss at New Orleans and now has to go to Cincinnati (2-5 SU, 2-5 ATS) on MNF. The Bengals are struggling (0-4 SU and ATS in their last four games), but did sweep Pittsburgh last year. The Steelers are 4 ½-point road ‘chalk.’

Buffalo (0-7 SU, 3-4 ATS) is still trying to get into the win column after losing at Kansas City in overtime (13-10). They will ‘host’ the Chicago Bears (4-3 SU, 3-4 ATS) in Toronto, Canada. The Bears are rested off the bye-week and are giving three points.

Denver, Tennessee, St. Louis, San Francisco, Washington and Jacksonville are on a bye.
