Down in the Lone Star State, NCAA basketball betting fans will love to sink their teeth into this brutal battle, as the Texas Longhorns will put the nation’s best ATS record on the line against the Texas A&M Aggies.
UT just continues to roll. Since it was beaten at the Frank Erwin Special Events Center by the Connecticut Huskies on January 8th, it has just stormed to a 6-0 record both SU and ATS, and it hasn’t had a game finish inside of double digits, including that 11 point win over the Kansas Jayhawks at Phog Allen Fieldhouse. Saturday’s clash against the Missouri Tigers could have been a tricky one, but the Longhorns persevered, picking up a dominating 71-58 victory in a game that was never really in doubt. Head Coach Rick Barnes’ team flexed its defensive muscles on a night where the offense wasn’t at its best, and the end result was a a performance that lowered Texas’ average points per game allowed to just 60.5. Jordan Hamilton had an “off night,” scoring just 16 points to drop his average to 19.0 points per game, but he is still the team’s leading rebounder as well at 7.6 boards per night. Texas continues to really get very little contribution out of its bench though, as this unit only scored three points outside of the production of J’Covan Brown on Saturday.
The Aggies had been flirting with fire of late, as they really haven’t produced enough offense to scare teams, and they were finally clipped by an inferior team in a 57-48 loss at the Nebraska Cornhuskers over the weekend. A&M dropped to just 4-2 in conference play, with the only other loss coming to these Longhorns in Austin 81-60. What we definitely do know about the Aggies is that they have a great defense. There’s no joke to averaging allowing just 58.7 points per game this year, especially in the Big XII, and especially with the Washington Huskies and Arkansas Razorbacks appearing in recent weeks as well. The Aggies have held seven foes of their last nine in the 40s or 50s in scoring. The problem comes offensively, where there aren’t a lot of stars, and a scoring average of 71.6 points per game is really only aided by the fact that the schedule wasn’t all that tough at the outset of the season. Khris Middleton is the team’s top scorer at 15.5 points per game on the campaign, but there isn’t another player that is even averaging 11 points per game.

Could this be some sweet revenge for the Aggies? It’s certainly a nice spot on the NCAA basketball odds, as A&M was clearly in a look ahead spot in Lincoln over the weekend. It was really looking forward to this one to get its hands on the Longhorns once again, and especially if they are dogs of even a few points, we have to take a piece of the hosts even though Texas is arguably the hottest team in the country this side of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Minnesota man finds new life, career in Red Lodge
The Billings Gazette (Billings, MT) September 10, 2007 | Anonymous It’s not like Bob Johnson grew up wanting to be a barber, and it never occurred to him to live in Montana.
He was knocking around from job to job, doing seasonal work in his small southern Minnesota hometown and knowing he wanted to go back school.
“I just didn’t want to spend a lot of money going to college and then graduate and not have a job,” he said.
That’s when he stumbled onto a barber school in Fargo.
“I said, ‘That’s it.’ I knew I could go to any town or city in the country and find work right away,” said Johnson, 22.
Then he came across a barber shop for sale in Red Lodge.
“I came out and drove around, went up the Beartooth Pass and to Yellowstone and fell in love with the area,” said Johnson, who runs Bob’s Barber Shop, at 206 S. Broadway. “I like the small-town atmosphere, and I love the outdoors, so it all worked out.” Unlike many businesses in Red Lodge, Bob’s Barber Shop isn’t as susceptible to the rise and fall of the tourist season. The locals need haircuts no matter the weather. go to site men s haircuts
“The customers from the past owner have been pretty good about coming in, and I’ve got people coming from Billings and the surrounding town and even people from Wyoming,” he said.
Here’s what else Johnson had to say about starting his own business:
What is the nature of your business?
Barbershop, men’s haircuts, neck shaves, beard trim.
Why did you start this business?
I love what I do and interacting with everybody. I enjoy making people, young and old, look and feel better when they leave the shop.
Where did start-up funding come from?
A personal loan was taken out to buy the existing business and to get started. I also got help from all of my family.
How long have you been in business?
Going on six months.
What are the biggest challenges in running the business?
So far so good. I am learning, though, just by talking and listening to customers and getting ideas for whatever.
What was done to overcome those challenges? website men s haircuts
I took all ideas and opinions from customers, friends and family to overcome any challenges I have or will have.
What is being done to expand the business?
I am soon going to be offering hot towel shaves. I am selling custom Bob’s Barbershop T-shirts and selling assortments of pomades and hair care products.
Your best business decisions?
Making Sunday and Monday my weekend.
What advice do you have for someone running a business?
Take everything with a grain of salt, whether it’s good or bad. Always look for ways to make the customer’s experience with your business enjoyable. Always make room for improvement.
How many workers do you employ?
One – me.
What is your five-year plan for the business?
To mainly find out what my winters will be like in Red Lodge, and just my calendar year in general. I don’t depend much on tourists for business, although I’ve cut a few If you weren’t doing what you are now, what would your dream job be?
At this time, there’s nothing I would rather be doing.
