The 2008 Carolina Panthers are starting to look at lot like the 2003 team that went to the Super Bowl. Seven of the 24 starters remain from that team including quarterback Jake Delhomme and receiver Steve Smith.  The one area that might be better this season for Carolina is the defense.  The Panthers are 4^th in the NFL in total defense this season.
