Houston Falls 113-110 to Heat - Recap
Miami got 38 points from LeBron James en route to a 113-110 victory over Houston on Monday at Toyota Center.
Miami did not, however, defeat the Rockets against the spread, which closed at 6 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 194.5.
Chris Bosh had 24 points for Miami and Dwyane Wade chipped in with 19 points. Dwyane Wade had 7 assists for the Heat, while LeBron James was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
Houston got 25 points from Chandler Parsons in a losing cause and another 22 points from James Harden. Jeremy Lin contributed 6 assists for the Rockets, while Omer Asik had 14 rebounds.
The Heat hit the break leading 56-52 before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Miami as they grabbed 44 boards, while Houston only had 40.
Next game, Miami takes its act on the road to face Los Angeles looking for another win. For Houston, they head home to face New Orleans.
