The top two teams in the Western Conference meet on Wednesday night as the Phoenix Suns host the New Orleans Hornets. The Suns are playing like a top team of late, winning nine of their last 11 while New Orleans has struggled lately, losing their last three games. SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Suns at Home.
New Orleans has given up 112.7 points per game during their losing streak.
"The bottom line in the last couple of games is teams are playing harder than we are," Hornets coach Byron Scott said. Wednesday’s game will provide New Orleans with a chance to turn things around. The Hornets have already defeated Phoenix twice this season. "It's very important, that's a team that we haven't beaten yet. It's a team that's in second place and it's a double win right there," Phoenix’s Steve Nash said. The game is a matchup between two of the best guards in the NBA. New Orleans’ Chris Paul is averaging 24.5 points and 10 assists in the first two meeting against Phoenix while Nash is averaging 17.5 points and 9 assists. Paul is coming off a rotten game against Utah where he only had six points, six assists and five turnovers.
