The New Jersey Nets will try and finally get a win on Thursday as they play the Golden State Warriors in Oakland. The Nets have lost a season high six straight games and have been blown out in most of those losses. They lost 128-94 loss at Sacramento on Tuesday. “Just a dismal performance," said Nets coach Lawrence Frank, "It starts with containment on the ball. We couldn't do that. We also couldn't close out on their shooters. ... We are simply playing very poorly." SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Warriors at Home.

Vince Carter is second on the team averaging 20.9 points per game. He had 21 points and eight assists against the Kings but got little help. "We have to continue to give effort and focus," Carter said. "It's not that we are not giving effort. It is that we need to give more effort. Everything gets magnified when you're losing and we need to change things." Carter had 23 points and 12 rebounds in the first meeting of the season with Golden State that the Nets won 100-95. New Jersey has lost five of their last seven games at Golden State.

We've been playing very well but we laid an egg tonight." The Warriors have won 11 of their last 15 at home.
