Opening Line: Trail Blazers - 3 , Total 203.5
The Denver Nuggets will try and win their third straight game on Monday night as they travel to Portland to face the Trail Blazers. Denver got their leading scorer, Carmelo Anthony back in the lineup on Saturday and their offense responded with 117 points in a 117-101 win against Charlotte. Anthony scored a team high 25 points in that game. "(The ankle) didn't hurt at all," said Anthony, "It felt good to be back." SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Nuggets on the Road.
Denver is also getting excellent play out of Linas Kleiza. He is averaging 19.9 points over his last nine games. Denver was missing center Marcus Camby on Saturday but he is hoping to play tonight.
SBG Global Current Line: Trail Blazers - 2.5 , Total 202
Portland is 19-5 at home but they have not been as dominant recently. They have lost to Houston and Cleveland on this homestand and nearly lost to the rotten Knicks on Friday but Brandon Roy had his first career triple-double - 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists and Portland won 94-88 in overtime. "We were dead in the water ... and we were able to mount another unbelievable comeback," said Roy, "It's a special season."
