Opening Line:  Celtics – 6 , Total 189
Kevin Garnett returns to Minnesota for the first time as member of the Boston Celtics but unfortunately he probably won’t play on Friday night. Garnett has been out with an abdominal strain and it is unlikely he will play against his old team on Friday. Garnett has averaged 19.2 points and 9.9 rebounds this season. He has missed the last five games and the Celtics have gone 3-2 without him. SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Celtics on the Road.

"The doctors want to make sure I'm smart and I'm not doing anything heroic, as they put it," Garnett said. "They want to make sure that I'm healthy. We have another half of a season of basketball to play, and that's the priority here." The Celtics are coming off a 111-100 win over the Clippers on Wednesday. The Celtics have scored more than 110 points in three of their last four games. Rajon Rondo had a career-high 24 points in Wednesday’s win.

Minnesota has played much better of late, winning five of their last eight games. They have not played since Monday when they lost 92-86 to Houston. Al Jefferson had 33 points and 16 rebounds in the loss. "We got blown out by 30 last time against Houston,” Jefferson said. "We were playing like garbage then. We're playing well now. We lost tonight, but we don't have anything to hang our heads about."
