The Cleveland Cavaliers will face a very difficult test on Wednesday in the second game of a back-to-back as they travel to Boston to face the Celtics.
The Cavs lost in Milwaukee last night on a buzzer beater by Michael Redd. LeBron James had tied the game for the Cavaliers but Redd hit the game winner for the Bucks. “We put ourselves in a hole by giving up 20 fast break-points in the first half,” said Cleveland coach Mike Brown. “Our floor balance was poor and that is something we have to do a better job with in the future.” The Cavs were missing starting center Zydrunas Ilgauskas who missed the game with an upper respiratory infection. LeBron led the Cavaliers with 35 points in the loss. SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Celtics at Home.
The Celtics are coming off a five game road trip that ended with a rout on Monday of the Clippers 104-76. James Posey and Paul Pierce each scored 17 points to lead Boston. The win improved Boston’s NBA-best record to 43-12 with the victory.
