Two teams that were active at the trading deadline meet on Monday in Dallas as the Mavericks host the new look Chicago Bulls. Dallas is home after a four game road trip that ended last night in Minnesota with a 99-83 win over Minnesota. Jason Kidd had 12 points and a season-high 17 assists for the Mavericks in the victory. "He makes some passes and you think in no way will it get there," said Dirk Nowitzki, "Somehow, he finds a way. It's fun." Dallas comes into Monday’s game having won 10 straight home games. They are 23-3 overall at home this season.

Chicago is coming off a 110-97 loss to Houston last night. The Bulls were in the game until the fourth quarter when Houston took over. Tyrus Thomas led Chicago with 18 points while Kirk Hinrich had 10 points and 10 assists. Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes were both in double-digits. They came over in the trade with Cleveland last week and have played well. Hughes had 13 points while Gooden had 12 points and eight rebounds. Ben Gordon had just five points for the Bulls. "We've got new guys in and there wasn't much chemistry," he said. "It was difficult and a tough night for me to get my rhythm." Dallas has owned Chicago recently in the series between the two teams winning 17 of the last 19 games. Dallas won 103-98 at home against the Bulls in their last meeting. Dallas is 9-1 in its last 10 home games against the Bulls.
