The Orlando Magic have handled most teams in the Eastern Conference this season but they lost their only game against Atlanta 98-87 in December. The Magic have lost their last three games overall against the Hawks which is surprising considering Orlando’s success against just about everyone else. The Magic are coming off a poor effort against Golden State on Saturday when they lost 104-95. "There is no excuse for what happened tonight," head coach Stan Van Gundy said after the game, "We got beat because their energy level was a lot higher than ours. We just got outplayed." SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Magic at Home.
The Hawks are coming off a 97-94 win over Miami on Saturday. The Hawks also had to finish the last 51.9 second of a disputed game against Miami from December. They finished off that win as well and picked up two wins to move into the 8th playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. "It's a great thing to get those wins," said Joe Johnson, "That's all that matters." Johnson has been great lately for the Hawks, averaging over 30 points in the last four games. He has averaged 28.8 points in the last five meetings against Orlando.
